CA Sri Lanka works with other professional organizations in order to enhance the visibility and global positing of the CA Sri Lanka
flagship qualification. It explores opportunities for collaborative partnerships to drive mutual growth and actively participates in
international forums aimed at developing the profession. Additionally, CA Sri Lanka creates exemptions and pathways for its members
and students through reciprocal arrangements.

Institute of Chartered MOU with h CA Sri Lanka has an MoU with ICAEW, enabling CA Sri Lanka members to receive
Accountants in ICAEW for membership of ICAEW upon successful completion of only the Advanced Level
England and Wales members Examination of ICAEW.

A special Dual h The “Dual Membership scheme” was implemented for CA students to achieve
Membership membership in both CA Sri Lanka and ICAEW without needing to undertake additional
scheme for modules. Instead of completing three modules at the Strategic level in the CA Sri
CA Students Lanka syllabus, students can fulfill the equivalent three modules in the ICAEW
syllabus to gain membership in both institutions. CA Students are not required to pay
registration or exemption fees for ICAEW.
h Under this programme, ICAEW offers a special scholarship to selected students,
covering study material fees, tuition fees, and examination fees for ICAEW exams.
CPA Ireland MRA with h CA Sri Lanka members can gain Associate Membership of CPA Ireland by completing
CPA Ireland. specified online tests in Irish Taxation, Irish Law, and Strategy subjects, enhancing
their professional credentials and opening doors to opportunities in Ireland and
beyond.
CPA Australia MRA with h CA Sri Lanka has an MRA with CPA Australia, enabling CA Sri Lanka members
CPA Australia with five years of accounting experience or an accepted degree to obtain direct
membership of CPA Australia after completing the Ethics and Governance subject,
enhancing their global recognition and access to resources, networks, and
professional development opportunities offered by CPA Australia.
Association of MoU with h The MoU with AICPA fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing between CA
International AICPA Sri Lanka and AICPA, providing members with access to international resources,
Certified Professional expertise, and networking opportunities, thereby enriching their professional growth
Accountants (AICPA) and development.
CIMA, UK MoU with h The pathway agreement between CA Sri Lanka and CIMA, UK offers the members
CIMA of each institution to qualify and become members of the other institution through
recognition of their respective members’ prior qualifications.
ACCA, UK MRA with h The MRA between CA Sri Lanka and ACCA-UK establishes terms related to
ACCA recognition of appropriately qualified membership of each body. The MRA ensures that
the standards of its professional programme and qualifying process are maintained
including offering CPD accredited programmes.
Zambia Institute of MoU with h The MoU between CA Sri Lanka and ZICA, UK applies to all qualified and experienced
Chartered Accountants ZICA ZICA and CA Sri Lanka members who have followed the education and training route
(ZICA) of each institute. This includes qualifications and CPD requirements.
The Chartered Institute MoU with h Members of CA Sri Lanka are eligible to join CIPFA (UK), enhancing their professional
of Public Finance and CIPFA (UK) credentials and opening doors to public sector opportunities in the UK and beyond.
