Activities of the education division

• Curriculum Development
• Continuous Improvements to CA Study programme
• Developing study materials for the CA programme including writing and Publishing Study packs for all levels.
• Coordinate web based correspondence course for Strategic Level
• Maintain student data base with regard to CA education programme and certifying the students’ eligibility to sit for examinations.
• Conduct seminars and workshops for students
• Liaise with private sector teaching colleges with regard to CA Education Programme.
• Conduct Teacher Training Programmes
• Review new exemptions
• Conduct Carrier Guidance and Counseling programes for students
• Publishing “ABACUS” Suggested Answers.

Ca study programme

CA Study programme is consisting of following items

1. Study packs – Education Division publish study packs for each level and purchasing of these is a mandatory requirement to sit for the examination.
2. E-Correspondence Course - Strategic Level students are required to complete the e-correspondence course which is based on syllabus and the study packs. This is a self-study technique which is another mandatory requirement which to be fulfilled before sitting for an exam. Any student who sits for the first time or as their 6th attempt are required to comply with this.
3. Class Room Lectures – All students are encouraged to attend for class room lectures conduct by private sector education institutions. However this not a mandatory requirement and students may select the self-study method to prepare for the examination.
4. MMLG – Multi Media Learning Guides – Are available for CAB I level and Education Division is focusing on developing MMLG for Strategic level as well.
5. Education division conducts seminars and workshops for CA students. These seminars are based on Preparation of Examinations; update the latest changes to the subject area, Case Study workshops etc. Students are advised to participate for these.

Important

Candidates who are applying for any of the two subjects for the first and 6th attempt are required to complete the e-correspondence course. Candidates who have sat for the Final I or II examination earlier should complete the e-correspondence course for the new subjects in Strategic Level I or II
