SWIMMING RULES

  1. The Meet will comprise of four individual events and one relay event conducted for men and women separately;
    Individual events
    -25M Freestyle
    -25M Breast Stroke
    -25M Butterfly
    -25M Back Stroke
    Relay event
    - 25M x 4 Relay
  2. Each participant is allowed to take part in a maximum of three events, excluding the relay.
  3. Fastest six swimmers in the heats will be selected for the finals
    Points will be awarded as follows;
    1st Place - 4 points
    2nd Place - 3 points
    3rd Place - 2 points
    4th Place - 1 point
  4. No Participation points will be awarded for this event and unallocated points in an event will not be apportioned among the rest of the firms participated.
  5. A Minimum of 4 members are required to constitute a team in the men's relay team, while a minimum of 3 members are required to constitute a team in the women's relay.
  6. Any preferred stroke can be used for the relays and only 3 teams can participate from each firm.
  7. Professional Timers will be used.
  8. All disputes related to the meet will be resolved by officials.

The primary objective of this magazine is to encourage students to contribute articles of their choice and it provides an excellent opportunity for students to express their views and opinions. Further, newsletter of the society is circulated annually amongst all registered students of the ICASL which includes useful information such as syllabus change, training requirements, examination calendar etc.
