Graduates of the PGDip (Business Administration) will have the high level of theoretical and practical knowledge, professional skills and competencies to make highly effective contributions, partnering with businesses in decision making as insight generators in local and international business. This includes technical skills, communication skills, networking, team spirit, leadership skills and group cohesiveness, critical thinking etc. along with values, ethics and attitudes to operate in various business scenarios relating to the practice of business management.
To programme aims to provide Members of CA Sri Lanka as well as senior executives/managers in the public and private sectors of the country, with an opportunity to develop a broad perspective of their role in a developing economy and to equip them with the necessary knowledge and expertise, to maximize their participation in business, financial, industrial, trading, and commercial activities.
Entry requirements for the course
- Proficiency in English, enabling students to undertake a university level postgraduate programme
- Required computer literacy, IT skills, and knowledge of organizational systems, and a recognized degree
- A professional qualification in accounting, banking, law, marketing, HRM, or any area acceptable to CA Sri Lanka
- Three-years of work experience at an executive level acceptable to CA Sri Lanka
Course Structure
The PGDip (Business Administration) programme consists of one academic year with two semesters.
Course completion requirements
In order to be eligible for the Diploma, candidates must have 80% of attendance at lectures.
