The highest achievers of the Business Level exams held in 2020 and 2021 were recognised this week at an awards ceremony organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). Students who excelled at the March 2020 and March 2021 Business Level exams were honoured with certificates of achievement for their outstanding performance.
The awards ceremony was held at CA Sri Lanka under the patronage of the Institute’ President Mr. Manil Jayesinghe, Chairman of the Examination Committee Mr. Tishan Subasinghe, Council Member Ms. Anoji De Silva, Chief Executive Officer Ms. Dulani Fernando and Director Examinations Mr. Prasanna Liyanage.
At the Business Level I exam held in March 2021, the first in order of merit prize was won by Kanishka Bhathiya Bandara Dasanayake, while the second in order of merit prize was won by Ashya Nayanarangi and the third in order of merit prize was shared by Hyderaly Hashid and Maleesha Dinuruwan.
At the Business Level II March 2021 exam, the first in order of merit prize was won by Paheerathan Piravena while the second in order of merit prize was won by Dinuth Sashan Silva and the third merit prize was won by Sanduni Gawravi Pigera.
The winners of the subject prizes at the Business Level I & II exam held in March 2021 were: Piyumanthi Navodya Liyanaarachchi, Dulani Pabasara, Mihishan Madhushanka, Shashini Chamodi Wariyapperuma, Jayan Sugandika Mendis, Kanishka Bhathiya Bandara Dasanayake, Ahmed Faisal Jiffry, Erandi Anuradha, Imashi Ayodhya Budunwela, Kelum Keshan Ariyasinghe and Ajeer Mohamed Amaan.
The March 2020 Business Level I & II was postponed to September 2020 following the lockdown last year. At the awards ceremony, several students who excelled at this exam was also recognised. The first in order of merit prize was won by Shashini Navodi, the second merit prize was won by Paheerathan Piravena and the third merit prize was won by Fathima Akeela.
Meanwhile, at the Business Level II exam, the first in order of merit prize was won by Imam Fathima Hikma while the second merit prize was won by Nirubama Janarthani and the third merit prize was won by Ruwantha Deshan Weerathilaka.
The prize winners of the subject prizes at the March 2020 Business Level I & II were: Faisal Fathima Akeela, Osanda Janandith Thenuwara, Shashini Navodi, Sandaru Dhananjaya, Ruchira Tharaka Mathotaarachchi, Kelum Keshan Ariyasinghe, Sadeesha Thisarangi Jayathilaka, Fazlu Ilahi Naashifa, Tiruni Tharushika Gunarathna and Kanchana Nadeeshani.
