Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya recently won the CA Sri Lanka Business Plan competition’s Kurunegala Regional Round, while Chundikuli Girls' College won the competition’s Jaffna Regional Round.
First runner up at the Kurunegala round was Holy Family Balika Vidyalaya, while the second runner up was Maliyadeva College. A total of four schools representing Kurunegala district took part in the regional rounds, including, Royal International School, Kurunegala.
In the Jaffna regional round, St. John’s College was adjudged the first runner up.
The CA Sri Lanka Business Plan competition has been broken into seven regional rounds; Colombo - A, Colombo - B, Gampaha, Kandy, Kurunegala, Galle/Matara and Jaffna.
The grand finale of the Business Plan Competition will be held on March 28, 2017 and the winning school team will fly to Australia and take part in the Case Competition by the QUT Business School of the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
