Business and Corporate level students of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) excelled at the 2015 Best Speaker Contest organized recently by the institute’s Multimedia English Language Centre for a third consecutive year.

CA Sri Lanka Business Level student, Mohamed Moujood Aasif who spoke on the topic ‘One Cannot’ was adjudged the winner at the Grand Finale of the Best Speaker, while Corporate Level Students Gayan Chinthaka Fernando was adjudged first runner up and Mohammed Farhath was adjudged second runner up.

The event was held under the patronage of Mr. Ramesh Schaffter, Director of Janashakthi Insurance PLC, and was organized in collaboration with the CA Toastmasters Club & the Gavel Club.
The contest is organized with the aim of providing the 44,000 massive student population of CA Sri Lanka an important platform to showcase and enhance their communication skills while also helping them develop their public speaking skills.
The contest comprised of three stages, namely; Preliminaries, Semi-Finals and the Grand Final.
