A high-level delegation from Bhutan including its Auditor General, Mr. Ugen Chewang, who is also the Chairman of the Accounting & Auditing Standards Board in Bhutan (AASBB), visited the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) this week.
The Bhutan delegation also comprised of Mr. Sonam Wangdi, General Secretary of AASBB and Mr. Lok Nath Dahal, Deputy Chief Accounts Officer of AASBB who met with Mr. Arjuna Herath, President of CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Lasantha Wickremasinghe, Vice President of CA Sri Lanka and Mr. Aruna Alwis, Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka where matters of mutual interest relating to the development of the accounting profession in Bhutan was discussed at length.
